Chris is still Magpies secretary, sponsor and website editor but has now passed on the mantle of treasurer to Dan Probert and manager to Kevin Jones. Despite being now 46 he still played two games last season as an emergency striker and is still registered just in case Magpies have a major injury crisis.

Notes	Chris came out of long term retirement to sign for Magpies in November 2002. Initially just a player, he soon became the club's treasurer and sponsor, and then took on the mantle of manager for last season. He was able to turn the club's fortunes around to a degree after the poor season a year earlier . In the summer of 2011 he became the club's new secretary as Geoff Argent retired, and his first move was to appoint Phillip Diver as the club's new manager. When that didn't last he became manager again for the majority of the season before in the summer of 2012 appointing Kevin Jones as player-manager. He is still registered as a player but will only play in real emergencies.
